I hadn't planned on doing another CD this year, who'd a thunk? I've got another 12 songs for a CD and the recording, mixing, and mastering has come along easily and I'd say (again), I'm at 98% complete. I'm working on final mixing tweaks, such as the classical guitar melodies coming through too loudly. Nylon string solos really cut through the mix and have to be lowered in volume. The mastering across all songs is efficient this time around, trying really hard to be consistent with compression, EQing, and volume normalization (RMS and Peak). I've got the CD artwork laid out (Front and Traycard) and will start the inside panel and CD top over the weekend. Happy Thanksgiving 2021, thanks for following and listening!
