I’m often asked how I name my instrumental songs as they have no lyrics. That’s actually an easy question to answer. I put headphones on, and while the new CD (in the making) is playing I make notes as to how each song makes me feel or what I think of or am reminded of. I then use a thesaurus to find more descriptive or powerful words. Then, I use sites like bandnamemaker.com to randomly generate word combinations and sometimes find a good song title. Otherwise, I may just use the best word I found that fits.
