I’m not actively pursuing new students at this time but occasionally find windows of time to meet with students on an infrequent or case-by-case basis. I started teaching guitar as a Sophomore in High School circa 1987 or so. My guitar teaching curriculum was based on what the student wanted to learn (styles of music, techniques) and incorporated the music theory and technique to accommodate that. It was about exercises that worked, functional approaches that excited students about playing, and immediately showed results.
Check out my Guitar Antics book, which has fundamentals and new approaches to becoming proficient quickly. If you’re stuck and need an occasional private (virtual) lesson, call me, and I’ll see what can be arranged – @ 385-645-8294.
